Project Overview:
Upon identifying a potential area of improvement within one of the entryways in The Shed building, our team recognized an opportunity to cultivate a space that not only served as a functional area for students but also promoted awareness and education about sustainability. Primarily utilized as a workspace for students to utilize between classes, we envisioned this space as a platform to inspire and educate them about sustainable practices. Our objective was to create an intriguing and inviting environment that seamlessly integrated sustainability concepts. By incorporating elements such as sustainable materials and recycling practices, we aimed to demonstrate to students the inherent fascination and importance of sustainability, while avoiding any sense of imposition or coercion. Instead, our intention was to kindle students' curiosity and ignite their intrinsic motivation to explore and learn.
My Role:
In this project, my role encompassed research, conceptualization, ideation, and the creation of visually compelling posters and infographics aimed at educating students about sustainable practices. Through extensive research, I gathered valuable insights and information on various aspects of sustainability, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of the educational materials. Using these findings, I conceptualized engaging and informative designs that effectively communicated complex concepts in a visually appealing manner.
